About Students of STEM

In today's rapidly evolving world, education in STEM—science, technology, engineering, and mathematics—is more than just a set of subjects; it's a pathway to opportunity. Careers in STEM are some of the fastest-growing and highest-paying fields, offering stability, innovation, and a chance to solve real-world problems. But despite the clear benefits, interest and performance in STEM subjects have been declining, particularly at the K-12 level. This growing gap inspired us to act.

Students of STEM was founded by a group of passionate students and recent graduates who saw this need firsthand in the Alpharetta community. We experienced the struggles and breakthroughs that come with STEM learning, and we knew how much of a difference strong mentorship and accessible instruction can make. We realized that if we wanted to see more young people pursue these valuable fields, we had to help build that foundation ourselves.

What began as informal study groups among friends has since grown into a dynamic tutoring organization serving students from elementary through high school. We bring together the energy and relatability of young educators with effective teaching strategies aligned with modern standards. Our goal is not just to improve grades—it's to spark curiosity, boost confidence, and show students that STEM is for everyone.

Today, we're proud to work hand-in-hand with the Students of STEM official non-profit as a Alpharetta branch chapter, we also work with local schools, parents, and students to strengthen the Alpharetta educational community. We believe that investing in STEM education now means investing in a brighter, more innovative future for all.
